Dual concentric rotary encoder Incremental encoder usually has three signal outputs (there are six signals in difference): A,B and Z, which generally adopt TTL level, A pulse is in front, B pulse is behind, A and B pulses differ by 90 degrees, and a Z pulse is sent out every turn, which can be used as a reference mechanical zero position. Generally, A leads B or A before B-ultrasound is used for direction determination. The incremental encoder of our company is defined as the clockwise rotation of the encoder as forward rotation, and A leads B by 90, whereas counterclockwise rotation is 90 before B-ultrasound.
